2003 Honda Civic Drag Project
We purchased this car in the spring of 2006 as Daniel's daily driver. That summer the car saw some limited track time to see just how slow it was.
We spent most of our time at the drag strip but did some road racing and autox as well. By the summer of 2008 the car was no longer in stock trim running
Tein Basic coilovers and a Zex nitrous kit. We were hitting the track every weekend and soon outgrew the 60 shot of nitrous. The season ended and the rebuild
began. In January 2009, the engine was pulled out and went through a complete overhaul including ARP headstuds and ARP rod bolts. The rest of the block
has remained stock to see just how far you can push it on nitrous. A custom direct injection nitrous kit is going to be run on the car for the 2010 season.
The heat, AC, sound deadening and SRS has all been entirely gutted from the car.
